General Description

A partbook designated Counter tenor p[r]imus' from a set of three volumes. Copied by a single scribe. Perhaps copied in London, for use at a private chapel or parish church (LehurM). Later owned by the antiquarian Humphrey Wanley (1672-1726), and by Oxford University Music School; passed to Bodleian Library in 1885.
