Two systems of new pencil foliation: (1) 1-54, on upper right rectos (some folios lack numbers, but all included in enumeration except one blank folio following f. 28); (2) 1-55, on lower right rectos (many numbers partly or completely obliterated by trimming). Original covers of brown leather over boards, with date "1573." No index. Each piece preceded by title page giving attribution, number of voices, and date "1573." Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 32. Red initials (printed from wood blocks), decorated with floral motifs and pictures of ecclesiastical dignitaries, saints, etc. Watermark generally resembles Briquet #1245.
