Apparently the only surviving remnants of a larger musical manuscript. Copied by a single scribe. Probably of Franco-Burgundian origin. History of ownership unknown; discovered in early 1970's in collection of fragments at this library.

Folio 5 contains the last five bars of the contra of Binchois’s Dueil angoisseux, at the bottom, labelled “Residuum.” - as noted by David Fallows, A Catalogue of Polyphonic Songs 1415-1480, p. 137; who in turn refers to Martin Bente et al., Bayerische Staatsbibliothek: Katalog der Handschriften, i: Chorbücher und Handschriften in chorbuchartiger Notierung, p. 339.

6 paper folios, 213 x 147. Apparently the only surviving remnants of a larger musical manuscript. Edges of some folios frayed and damaged by worms; ff. 3'-4 darkened by dirt, but most music still legible. Modern foliation, 1-6. No covers, but folios previously bound. No index remains. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 16. No initials or decoration. Watermark: Gothic letter "P," forked at bottom (not in Briquet).
