General Description

A single Medius partbook. Copied by one main scribe, who also made additions in DurC C2, DurC C4, and DurC C8; pp. 131-140 copied by a different scribe, who also made additions in DurC C16 (Brian Crosby). Copied in Durham, for use by cathedral choir.

Physical Description

Some folios fragmentary or in poor condition; restored and repaired. The variable sizes of the leaves -- pp.1-141 are 28.5 x 19 cm, pp. 142-310 are 29.5 x 19 cm -- probably indicates that they originated in more than one ms (CrosbyD 1986, p.35).
