General Description

A single Tenor partbook. Though copied later in the 17th century, it contains repertoire from the 1630s - presumably a replacement copy for an earlier partbook, to enable continued use of the repertoire (CrosbyC, p.43). Copied by John White, Matthew Owen, William Greggs, Elias Smith, John Thoresby, and two unidentified scribes (Brian Crosby). Copied in Durham, for use by cathedral choir.
