A Bassus partbook of a set of 5 volumes. Music copied by a single scribe, employed by Edward Paston (1550-1630) of Norfolk, a country gentleman and collector of music. Purchased by British Museum at a Puttick's sale in 1873.

Original foliation crossed out and replaced with new pencil foliation - D: 1-58 (from last modern front flyleaf through first modern back flyleaf); A: 1-55 (begins with last modern front flyleaf; last original folio not numbered); TBQ: 1-56 (begins with last modern front flyleaf).
