General Description

A manuscript of lesson texts (ff. 1–59), followed by 12 folios of music (ff. 60–71), from a separate fascicle probably originally of a smaller size. The lessons show a remarkably clean and fine text and musical notation, which could date from before the 14th Century. The individual voices are written in score across the opening. The monophonic lamentations of f.65-71v date from were perhaps copied slightly later (15th century?). These are also found in the main corpus (f. 73-83v).

RISM Description

Folios 1-59 are text. Folios 60-71 are a self-contained fascicle, slightly smaller than the main corpus which measures 325 x 230 mm. Folios 65-71v are rather later (15th century?). Modern foliation throughout.

RISM B/IV 3: 14./15.

Jh. ?) wurden auf f. 65-71v einstimmige Lamentationen eingetragen. Solche stehen auch im Hauptcorpus (vergleiche f. 73-83v).
