General Description

The corpus is astronomical geometrical. The music, which is an addition on f. 87v-88, contains at least 6 Benedicamus Tro, of which no. 5 on f. 88 is the voice-exchange hymn 'Iohannes postquam senuit' written as a monody.. In the 15th century the manuscript belonged to Hartmann Schedel of Nürnberg.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 1: An 11th century parchment manuscript meas. 205 x 148 mm. and containing 150 folios foliated in modern ink at t.r.r. At the front are 8 paper leaves of c. 1500 + 1 parchment leaf dating from the early 12th century. The binding is of brown leather over boards and is ornamented with blind tooling (1 clasp is missing). The corpus is astronomical and later geometrical. The music is a 12th century addition on f. 87v-88 in staffless German neumes : it contains at least 6 Benedicamus Tro, of which no. 5 on f. 88 is the voice-exchange hymn "Iohannes postquam senuit" written as a monody (see introduction, item 21 ; for incipit, cf. lower voice of Cb 102). In the 15th century the manuscript belonged to Hartmann Schedel of Nürnberg, [see Addenda, p. 873.]
