Copied by a single scribe, who also wrote ff. 63'-64 and ff. 65'-66 of VerBC 759 (Call). Probably copied in Verona (KanTV), but close repertorial associations with several Roman sources (PrestV, ReynoldsM).

RISM

XVIe s. 225ff. Papier (Parchemin aux 2 premiers ff.), 570 x 422 mm. Foliotation moderne avec quelques vestiges de foliotation ancienne généralement rognée par le relieur. Le f. 1 est blanc. Notation mesurée blanche. 10 portées par p. Miniatures aux ff. lv et 2. Capitales ornées de figures et sujets en couleurs. Au f. 225v, table contemporaine du ms.: «Omnes Misse per ordinem sicut sunt in libro scripte.» Reliure ancienne cuir brun, coins et bouillon central cuivre.

Ce luxueux ms. est un autre témoin de la place prépondérante que tenaient les compositeurs franco-flamands dans le répertoire liturgique de la cathédrale de Vérone. Les armes de deux célèbres familles véronaises au f. 2, celles des Maffei et des Brenzoni, laissent supposer que le ms. a été copié dans la région.
