RISM Description

A 13th century parchment manuscript meas. 262 x 173 mm. and containing 144 folios. The Aquitanian notation of this Troper and Sequentiary is written on dry point lines with f and c lines in red and yellow respectively. The f clef is always marked at the beginning of a stave. In the top part of the polyphonic piece on f. 18v-19, the c clef is also usually marked in the top part. The composition in question is the"Sanctus Tro Clangat cetus", which is identical with Hu 15. Here the two parts are divided by a brown line, as in other Aquitanian sources in score. There are 8 staves per page, and initials are in red. The ms seems to have been written for Tortosa cathedral.
