The principal part contains tropes for the Proper, as well as Kyrie, Gloria, and Sanctus tropes and 100 pages of sequences. The polyphony appears as a somewhat later addition at the bottom of f.105, and consists of a two-part Benedicamus in score. The word Benedicamus is in a later hand, and the word domino is om. The upper part is very melismatic.

RISM Description
RISM B/IV 1: A 10th-11th century parchment manuscript meas. 230 x 105 mm. and containing 3 unnumbered + 221 + 2 unnumbered folios. The ink foliation at t.r.r. is probably 19th century, while the binding is the usual 18th century blue morocco with the royal arms in gilt on the front and back covers. This Proser and Troper from St. Martial de Limoges is relatively homogeneous and was mainly edited between 994 and 1031. The principal part contains tropes for the Proper, as well as Kyrie, Gloria, and Sanctus tropes and 100 pages of sequences.
